Derek Humphrey
AVP – Underwriting
Derek has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years with experience in property and casualty underwriting with several Insurers and an MGA.
In 2017 Derek assumed an Underwriting Manager position at one of Canada’s largest MGAs along with overseeing the MGAs Inland Marine book and was later promoted to overseeing the Liability book. Derek’s responsibilities also included underwriting new and renewal commercial business, managing Lloyd’s syndicate contracts and overseeing staff.
At Vailo Derek is responsible for developing and implementing key business strategies.
